Ekaterina Selezneva graduated from St. Petersburg State University (Russia), Department of Mathematical Methods and Operations Research in Economics in 2001. In 2003 she was awarded a Master of Arts in Economics from the CORIPE Piemonte (Turin, Italy) and in 2005 from the European University in St. Petersburg (Russia). During 2006 Ms Selezneva worked as a research assistant at the European Training Foundation in Turin (Italy) for a range of projects. In particular, she was involved in a project which addressed the labour market attachment among the different strata of Western Balkans population. In January 2009 Ms Selezneva successfully completed her PhD studies at the University of Turin (Italy).
Ms Selezneva's scientific and professional interests include applied research related to labour market and gender economics topics, and in particular, those which involve the usage of subjective measures (e.g. subjective well-being). Ms Selezneva works at the Department of Economics, Migration and Integration since May 2009.
