Library Opening hours Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 17:30pm Audience The library's services are primarily aimed at students, scholars, doctoral candidates, graduate candidates, journalists, members of the press, broadcasting and television, as well as members of authorities, scientific institutions and companies. Moreover, any person interested is welcome. No user pass is needed. Enquiries Every year, the library of the Institute for Eastern European Studies responds to enquiries by providing information via letters and emails (approximately 100 times a year) and telephone (approximately 3,000 times a year). Material costs (â?¬0,10 a copy, postal charges) are charged. Literature lists If needed, literature lists on certain topics can be compiled. The charges found in the enquiries section apply to this service as well. On the website of the Institute for Eastern European Studies there are literature lists on topics often requested. Information Visitors are instructed on how to use the library. Whenever there are questions on certain subjects, the associates of the library provide help on research. Photocopy services It is possible for users of the library to make copies. Prices: copies in A4: â?¬0,10, copies in A3: â?¬0,15. Prices for requests from outside can be found in the enquiries section. Borrowing The library is a reference library. However, borrowing over the weekend is possible. Inter-library loans Via Bibliotheksverbund Bayern (association of Bavarian libraries) (Sigel: M357) (library code: M357) the library of the Institute for Eastern European Studies participates in inter-library loans.
