Summer Academy 2011

From 29. June to 01. July, 2011 the Third Joint OEI/APB Summer Academy on Central and Eastern Europe took place in Tutzing. The topic was "Energy and Environment in Eastern Europe". Besides the keynote lectures by Jutta Albrecht-Saavedra (ifo Institute), Ferdinand Pavel (DIW Econ Berlin) und Manuela Troschke (OEI), the participants presented their research projects. Topics included "Resource curse and Russian development prospects", "Sectoral and macroeconomic impacts of the LCP Directive in Ukraine: A CGE analysis" and "Estimating the volatility of electricity prices."
